Thank you Nöjesguiden for nominating us to “Stockholmspriset 2011 (The Stockholm Award)” in the category “Club”, we are very honored!
This is what they wrote about us (sorry, it’s in Swedish…but you can get a ruff translation here.):
“Ett av årets bråk handlade om huruvida den dåliga representationen av kvinnliga dj:s bland Stockholms klubbar berodde på att klubbarna prioriterade kvalitet eller bara saknade självinsikt och kritik mot patriarkatet. Mahoyos mayhemkvällar var ett fuck you till hela ”debatten” – inga dj:s satte eld på dansgolven lika mycket under 2011.”
And we also wanna congratulate Ida and Damon for their nomination as “Årets Nöjesförbättrare (Entertainment Improver of the Year)”, the amazing people behind SIC and Vardagsrummet.
