The Mahoyo Project- Official Documentary Trailer 2014

Skärmavbild 2014-09-03 kl. 23.43.10

The trailer for The Mahoyo Project is finally released. This is the first glimpse of our upcoming documentary also known as our baby, and we are equally excited and nervous to share this with you. Earlier in May this year we went to Johannesburg, South Africa to collaborate with amazing artists within the urban music, fashion and dance scene. At the moment we are in the process of shooting their Swedish counterparts in Stockholm.

The story aims to break stereotypes of gender, race and location. We have been working on this project for nearly a year and its has been a real trip so far. Its a blessing to witness it all coming together as beautifully as it has, we owe it all to Moira Ganley and FlipFlop Interactive. We aim to have the full documentary finished by the end of 2014 but its still a whole lot of work ahead. We are still in need of financial support to make it a reality. If you are interested to support this project, please don’t hesitate to contact us on documentary[att] Watch the trailer below. We hope you enjoy it and make sure you spread the word.

We’re in Johannesburg at the moment, shooting our documentary; The Mahoyo Project: South Africa. It’s been four busy and eventful days already, we’ve met so many amazing and talented people, can’t wait to share this experience with all of you.

Today we’re gonna spin tracks at THE WKND SOCIAL, and next week we’re having DJ workshops, planning an event and also djing at The Feminine Touch Series in Soweto; a platform for women in the arts, just to name a few things in our schedule.
