sWe started off our day at White Castle, the fast food chain that is known from the movie “Harold & Kumar go to White Castle”. This is not a place we would recommend, it’s worse than McDonald’s.

Our childhood friend Emelie from Sweden moved to NYC so we though it would be nice to meet her, have lunch and catch up.

We decided to explore our neighbourhood in Brooklyn and so we headed out to see what it had to offer. And as the day went by we got to know that it had just about everything we needed, from shopping to small cozy cafe´s that would pop up everywhere to beautiful artwork all round the area. We love BK!

We had promised ourselves to attend at least a stand up, a musical, a talk show, an improv or a poetry slam. We succeeded with two things from this list, to see a improv show and a peotry slam (we will get back to the poetry slam in a coming blog post). Unfortunately we weren’t able to take as many pictures as we would have like to, but here’s some.

New York has the best Vietnamese food. We were lucky to have find a restaurant the first day we went to China Town that we fell in love with and we made sure to eat there as much as we possibly could. You will not find a better tasting vermicelli dish anywhere else.

When we came back to NYC our girl Ellen from Sweden joined us, and man were we happy to see her. The first night togheter we went to a karaoke bar in Brooklyn with our friend King. It was a blast!
