It’s time for our monthly club at Vardagsrummet, and we’ve invited the up-and-coming R&B star Dante to to do a DJ-set with us.

“Stockholm based Dante Kinnunen is to most of us known as the youngest and drum-playing member of The Concretes, but boy does he have a brilliant mind (and voice) of his own. As Dante he creates huge pop heavily influenced by R&B and soul, something that became abuntantly clear earlier this year when he covered Clarence Carter’s ‘Next To You’.”

We’re looking forward to Dante’s debut album, but meanwhile you can find him at Vardagsrummet together with us this Saturday.

Yesterday was the day for the award show to “Stockholmspriset 2011″. We didn’t win, but we had a great time and are so happy to have been nominated. We wanna thank all of our old and new friends who came to our parties, danced, showed us love and for all the beautiful memories we created together. We also wanna give special thanks to Nöjesguiden, Damon Rasti and Ida Therén (nominated for night life improver for “Vardagsrummet“), Malin and Talia from Freshest and of course Lina Thomsgård from Rättviseförmedlingen. All of your support made this happen! Let’s make 2012 a great year to remember!

Congrats to Top Nice who won the award, you deserved it!

This was a hectic but oh-so fun weekend for us. First we did a dj-set at Under Bron (sorry, no pictures…apparently they have a strictly no photos policy there), and on Saturday we did a dj-set at Tabberas in Uppsala. Labyrint did a dope live performance before our set. One thing’s for sure, the students in Uppsala knows how to party!
