After the NYC fashion week came to an end all the trade shows we had been waiting for finally started. ENK NYC and The Train was two of the trade show we attended in search for new brands for mahoyo.com and to see all the new collections. These two trade shows were very different from the ones we’ve attended earlier, they were not as crazy and festive as the ones in Europe, but it was still very nice to be there.

NYC pt. 13: Williamsburg Fashion Weekend

As the NYC fashion week was coming to an we had the pleasure to attend Williamsburg Fashion Weekend. WFW provides a platform for emerging designers who display their collections in non-tradional formats from live music and dancers to choreographed mixed media extravaganzas. The place where the show was held was amazing, we got very excited to see all the designers and their collections.

A very funny thing happened just as we started mingling with the people before the show. A designers came up to us and asked if we could be models of his brand, as he was in need for some more girls for his show and he really liked us. We tough we would be very spontaneous, just go with the flow and just do it, and so we did and it was so much fun.

NYC pt. 5: Fashion’s Night Out

Being in NYC during the NYC fashion week is pretty damn nice. Fashions Night Out is a night filled with all kind of festivities. Every store was throwing a party and everyone was dressed to impress. We made sure to visit as many stores as we possibly could with our new found NYC friends. The only thing that we were bummed about was the fact that we missed Janelle Monae´s performance at the Ralph Lauren store, as u can see, the line was ridiculous, but we still had a great time.
